The time is now!

It is my pleasure to release "Catch The Sky" here today 09/09/09!

Certainly it is better to listen to music then talk about it but I would like to share some information. It was a trip getting here.... during the past two years we recorded more then 25 songs in three different analog/digital studios with some of my best friends and musical heroes. Thank you to all who collaborated, cajoled, conspired or otherwise consented to be a part of this project! Thank you Julian Lennon!

There are 12 songs on this album. Choosing which ones was and is an elusive process. I think the songs choose themselves. I wanted to make a classic rock and roll album with classic sounds from real instruments played by great musicians whom I admire and respect. I wanted it to sound like it does when we play live... full of energy and jamming! ... I wanted something much more then a pretty album, I wanted all the emotions that race through us in the course of a day to be heard... to be felt. We left rough edges and polished others... setting out to follow the life of the songs as they took shape and to catch those unpredictable magic moments.

I can't wait for you to hear!!! Songs take on another life of their own when they're heard and I hope you'll share your impressions with me.
